Lady Justice Print - Raise Funds for Abortion Access
Lady Justice is a mixed media print, made from a Lino- block print and watercolor paint. Each print is made exclusively by hand, making each pull completely unique. Prints are 8x10 and come in an 11x14 white matte. 50% of all proceeds are donated to Abortion Access funding in Kentucky and Indiana.
Lady Justice is modeled after both greek and Egyptian godesses whose purpose was to judge man as they passed into the afterlife. The traditional seal has been replaced by a hanger. She weighs the bloodied House of the Supreme Court against the mass of a feather, to be found guilty. Lady Justice is shown with blood soaking between here thighs, symbolizing both the fatalities that will occur to women as a result of the overturning of Roe vs. Wade and the sexual/ domestic violence women face that is only expedited when a woman becomes pregnant. Her eyes are covered by an American flag.
